Time is passing quickly as work and my first pregnancy comes to an end. I only have 2 more days of school and then will not return until next August. I can't wait! The subs are lined up and my plans are almost finished. Some of the kiddos are sad that I am leaving. That is sweet of them. I promised to come in with the baby for a visit before the end of school. The doctor warned me this week that I very easily could go past my due date...I am still small, I haven't dialated at all, first and boy pregnancies tend to go past...it seems like I have the odds stacked against me! We will find out if anything has progressed at my next appointment Tuesday. Keep your fingers crossed! I am ready to have this baby outside of my body instead of inside.
Here is a pic from a get-together at my house two weekends ago. (Man...I am bad about posting!) These are some friends from Ball State Days. Thanks to all who got to come! I have so many great gifts for the baby! This is going to be one well-dressed kid. Consider accepting an open invitation to come and visit our humble home anytime! The other picture is of my Lamaze class given by the hospital. Ironically, all of the women were teachers or worked with the shcool system. Maybe that goes to show that the pain of childbirth can't be as bad as the things we deal with at school! :)
Last weekend, Josh and I went out for the evening for one of the last time as a two-some (and for my birthday). Thanks to my sister, Shannon, we went out to eat in Greenwood and got a little shopping done. Josh surprised me with an iPod Shuffle for my birthday! (Not the expensive one...just the tiny one without a screen.) I love it and am now feel offically cool! Last night we went with my parents up to Indy to see the musical Cats. It is one of my favorite musicals and Josh's first time to see it. He enjoyed it. The baby especually liked the fast music and would start kicking. Maybe we have a future Broadway performer!

We will make sure to put in updates ASAP after the baby is born. Stay tuned!
